Tanzanite Chips Beads

The name Tanzanite was introduced by the New York jewellers, Tiffany and Co. In natural lighting, Tanzanite appears to be more sapphire blue but then can seem to be more amethyst violet in artificial light. When heated to temperatures as high as 752 - 932 degrees fahrenheit, the voilety colour will appear to be more yellow then to brown. Tanzanite is only found in one country in the world and that is indeed Tanzania.
