Goldstone is a type of glittering glass made in a low-oxygen, reducing atmosphere. It can be polished smooth or carved into beads. The reddish-brown goldstone is the most common form containing tiny crystals of glittering metallic copper. The red goldstone is said to be the stone of 'Confidence and Ambition', encouraging motivation and success.
